Ingredients

  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt whole milk works best
  • 3 to 4 fresh strawberries, tops removed
  • 1 to 2 tsp honey or other sweetener

Instructions

  • Remove the rind from the watermelon then cut into 1/2-inch slices across.
  • Use a crinkle cutter (linked in my post) or a knife to cut the watermelon into fry shapes, about 1/2-inch by 2-inches. (or whatever shape you'd like) If not serving right away, place the watermelon in the fridge to keep it cold.
  • Add the yogurt, strawberries, and honey to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the dip into a small bowl.
  • Serve the watermelon fries with the dip and make sure to keep everything nice and cold.

Notes

Watermelon fries are also delicious with a squeeze of lime juice over top and fresh mint or a sprinkle of tahin seasoning. You can also serve the watermelon with whipped cream or whipped topping as a dip.
