🍜 Cashew Chicken, Broccoli, and Rice Noodle Stir Fry : a yummy @marleyspoon meal. I love that the chicken came prepped and the sauce came pre-mixed…couldn’t be easier. Bonus: I packed leftovers in a thermos for one kid’s camp lunch. (Message me for discount code if you want to try the subscription out.)
🥕Tuesday: Chicken Parm Subs (a quick-prep @marleyspoon meal), air fryer carrot fries (a kit sent to us by @grimmwayfarms ), and a simple tomato and cucumber salad. Special appearance by Penny 🐕.
🍚Wednesday: Tofu and Green Bean Stir Fry over Rice, cucumbers from the farmers market. This is a recipe I’m helping test for my friend @thenaturalnurturer so it will be on her site soon. It’s so yummy! My kids absolutely loved the sauce.
🍣Thursday: a very special sushi night. Made a sushi bowl with rice, spicy tuna, cucs, avocado, seaweed salad, salmon, and furikake seasoning. We have a local fish market that has sushi grade fish and it was actually way more affordable than going out/getting take out sushi.
Also, if you’ve never had edamame tossed with chili garlic crisp—you must! So good!
🌮Friday: Mexican takeout. Always nice to have a break from cooking and kick off the weekend with family!

My boys are 10 and 12 and I’ve been packing their lunches since my oldest was 2. One boy doesn’t mind eating all foods cold (hence the pork buns and hot dogs in the planets boxes) but the other boy mostly only wants warm lunches.
Feel free to ask any questions about what’s in the lunches, but I’ll quickly describe what’s in them and which bento we are using.
I pack all lunches in a bag with an ice pack if it’s a cold lunch or the thermos bento has a little ice pack under the non-thermos side.
1️⃣ Pork Bao: these are frozen ones from Costco that I microwave then put in the box or in a preheated thermos. Also, orange, cucumbers and tomatoes, shelled edamame, and cookies. @planetbox Launch
2️⃣Crispy panko chicken, also from the freezer via Costco. I cook it in the air fryer in the morning, chop it up and pit it into the preheated thermos with a paper towel on the bottom to soak up any extra condensation. Ketchup, pickles, grapes and cherries. @omielifeinc Omie Up.
3️⃣Leftovers from dinner: grilled shrimp, rice, and mango salsa. Grapes and blueberries, edamame snacks, and Trader Joe’s gummy candy. Planetbox Launch.
4️⃣Ham and pickle sandwich on Dave’s Killer Bread bun, chips, grapes, blueberries, and gummy candy. @yumboxlunch Panino
5️⃣Pork Bao requested again. Grapes and cherries, cucumbers, rice crackers, and cookies. Planetbox Launch.
6️⃣Egg noodles and broccoli (made the night before) seasoned with butter, salt, and garlic powder. Fresh mozzarella balls, cucumber, and cookies.
7️⃣Cut up hot dogs, leftover corn on the cob and roasted potatoes, grapes, blueberries, and gummy candy. Planetbox Rover.
8️⃣Leftover grilled pizza from dinner the night before. Watermelon, pickles, olives, and gummy candy. Yumbox Panino
